FINAL SCORE: 111 - 11 | TEIKŌ VICTORY

Teikō vs Meikō Match Action
THIRD STRAIGHT TITLE — WITHOUT KUROKO

MATCH OVERVIEW

Junior High Nationals final, Generation of Miracles' last year. Kuroko and Ogiwara had been waiting on this one since they were kids. Kuroko never plays it — he is still out from the Kamatanishi semi. He asks Akashi to go all out. Akashi does something else: he lets Meikō score 11 so the board shows a hundred-point gap and a single digit. 111–11. Meikō's team quits basketball. Ogiwara leaves Kuroko a black wristband and nothing else.

KEY TURNING POINTS

THE WRONG FINAL Kuroko is in the stands with a head injury from the Kamatanishi semi. The childhood rematch happens without him on the floor.
GO ALL OUT That was the request. Akashi hears a different order: win so completely that the board is a joke.
ELEVEN POINTS Meikō are allowed exactly 11. One hundred points of air. The scoreboard only has to display a 1. Ogiwara still wants the last whistle blown.
THE WRISTBAND Meikō quit as a team. Kuroko does not hear from Ogiwara again. The black band is the whole message.
