Q1: [Appearing suddenly out of nowhere] Coach Araki, congratulations on taking third place [in the coaches and managers poll]. How do you feel right now?

Araki: Whoa... you startled me. Thank you. I'm happy that I somehow managed to get 3rd place.

Q2: What do you think is your greatest strength?

Araki: I think my drive and tenacity are second to none - even compared to most guys.

Q3: So, is there anything you would like to improve upon in the future?

Araki: Well, I suppose there are times when the other people get intimidated by me. That's fine when it comes to the team members, but when I'm dealing with fellow teachers or people my own age, I think I should probably restrain myself a little more.

Q4: Who do you want to lose to the least?

Araki: ...Coach Harasawa. To be honest, he's not really my type - I find him difficult to deal with. So if we end up playing against Too, I'll probably find myself paying particular attention to them.

Q5: Looking back at the Winter Cup, how do you feel now?

Araki: I can't exactly say I'm satisfied with the result, but I think the players did very well. They have become aware of various things, and I'm sure the members who remain will do their best next year, for the sake of the third years who are graduating.

Q6: I hear you were a former delinquent. Could you tell us about one of your legnedary exploits from back then?

Araki: Bast-! Don't say things like that so loudly, you idiot! I merely got into a little argument with some guys from a different gang and ended up having a slightly flashy fight, that's all!

Q7: Did something happen between you and Coach Harasawa around the time of the All-Japan tournament?

Araki: I don't know what you're insinuating, but there's nothing between me and that man. I simply don't like him. If you're asking whether something happened, then it was more with Takeuchi, the Kaijō coach.

Q8: A word about being called 'Masako-chin'?

Araki: There's no way I'm okay with it. That guy Murasakibara just won't learn, no matter how many times I tell him. Honestly. By the way, I only let it slide because you phrased it as a question just now; otherwise, you wouldn't be getting let off so easily.

Q9: Please tell us your goals for the future.

Araki: All the players are already aware of this, so I don't think there's any need for me to say it again, but we're aiming to win every tournament.
