Shirogane Kōzō is Teikō Middle School's original head coach — the man who raised the Generation of Miracles. Practice under him is extremely strict.

NAME ETYMOLOGY

Shirogane (白金): The kanji 白 (Shiro) means "white" and 金 (Kane / Gane) means "gold" or "metal" — literally "platinum."

Teikō Naming Pattern: Following a hidden theme where Teikō's core names are colors, Shirogane's 白金 is "platinum" — white and gold together.

Kōzō (耕造): The kanji 耕 (Kō) means "to cultivate" and 造 (Zō) means "to create" — a coach's name.
