OVERVIEW

Miyaji Kiyoshi is Shūtoku's third-year small forward. He is 191 cm, a 9/10 technique mark, and the scariest senior on the roster with a habit of lightheartedly threatening Midorima with pineapples.

Beneath his intense and strict exterior lies a dedicated competitor with high-speed dribbling skills and a deep loyalty to his team.

OFFICIAL KUROFES INTERVIEW

Source: KuroFes Official Fanbook  |  Interviewer: Kuroko Tetsuya

Q1: [Appearing suddenly out of nowhere] Miyaji-san, congratulations on taking third place [in the point guard poll]. How do you feel right now?

Miyaji:Uwa! Ah, hey, don't go startling people like that. I'll bury you. ...I mean, I'm glad. Thanks.

Q2: What do you think is your greatest strength?

Miyaji:Not pampering myself.

Q3: So, is there anything you would like to improve upon in the future?

Miyaji:Others have told me that I'm way too strict with people.

Q4: Who is the opponent you hate losing to the most?

Miyaji:Probably Hayama. We got utterly wrecked by him in the Winter Cup semifinals, plus he's skilled at dribbling, which is something I'm really particular about myself.

Q5: Please say a few words about the results of the Winter Cup?

Miyaji:It was frustrating, but I also feel like we did everything we could. Though I barely talked to you directly, you guys were seriously incredible, hey.

Q6: You get along well with Otsubo-san and Kimura-san. How long have you known each other?

Miyaji:Both of them started in high school. We met in the basketball club, bonded over talking about our younger brothers, and became close..

Q7: You're considered an extremely terrifying senior by your underclassmen. What are your thoughts on that?

Miyaji: Seniors are supposed to be scary, aren't they?

Q8: Please talk about Miyu-Miyu's charm.

Miyaji: Ah, despite how she looks, she's actually a hard worker! Her singing is still a bit unpolished, but she takes lessons, and her dancing is really good. She treats every single fan with care, and even at handshake events... (30 minutes of Miyu-Miyu talk omitted).

Q9: Please tell us about your goals for the future.

Miyaji:I'm a 3rd year now, so basketball is on hold for a bit. First up are college entrance exams, and then if I get into college, I'll play basketball there. Won't be able to play until then, right?

Q10: Please give a message to all your fans.

Miyaji:It's not like I'm fine with losing, but taking 3rd place with these members makes me happy. I plan to keep paying basketball after graduation too, so keep supporting me.

AUTHOR NOTES (FUJIMAKI-SENSEI)

A Word from Fujimaki-sensei! "He's scary, but actually a really good upperclassman. Though not quite as much as Takao, he's made a huge leap in prominence. What is going on with Shūtoku?"
