Tsugawa Tomoki is Seihō High's shooting guard and the face of the team's pressure defense. He does not need a flashy first step if he can lean on a driver until their legs are gone.
Against Seirin he shadows Kagami, jumps the passing lanes, and draws charges by stepping in front of the drive. Iwamura brags about him for a reason: Seihō's whole identity is that nobody scores cleanly once Tsugawa has been on them for a quarter.
NAME ETYMOLOGY
Tsugawa (津川): The kanji 津 (Tsu) means "harbor" or "ferry," and 川 (Gawa) means "river."
Tomoki (智紀): The kanji 智 (Tomo) means "wisdom" and 紀 (Ki) means "chronicle" or "era."
