Sakamoto Kenjirō is Seihō High's starting small forward. He is one of the five bodies that make the Namba wall work.
On the Seirin tape he is the wing who rotates early, helps on Kagami's drive, and lets Tsugawa finish the possession. Seihō's identity is collective defense, and Sakamoto is built for that more than for isolation scoring.
NAME ETYMOLOGY
Sakamoto (坂本): The kanji 坂 (Saka) means "slope" and 本 (Moto) means "origin" or "base."
Kenjirō (健次郎): The kanji 健 (Ken) means "healthy" or "strong," 次 (Ji) means "next," and 郎 (Rō) is a classic male suffix.
