OVERVIEW
Kasuga Ryūhei is Seihō High's starting point guard. Average size, clean handles, and the same martial-arts footwork as the rest of the Three Kings roster — he is the one who walks the ball into Tsugawa's trap and makes sure the defense is working.
He is calmer than Iwamura and less theatrical than Tsugawa. His job is to keep Seihō's half-court set from rushing, then dump the ball to the wing once the opponent is already tired of being body-checked.
NAME ETYMOLOGY
Kasuga (春日): The kanji 春 (Ka / Haru) means "spring" and 日 (Suga / Hi) means "sun" or "day."
Ryūhei (隆平): The kanji 隆 (Ryū) means "prosperous" or "noble," and 平 (Hei) means "peace" or "flat."
