OVERVIEW

Nebuya Eikichi is Rakuzan's second-year center and Uncrowned King—Herculean Strength. He plays basketball with his body. What moves the body are the muscles.

Kiyoshi calls him a boulder. Okamura notes the secret is how he drops his hips. He eats karubi, poses side-chest, and burps until Mibuchi tells him to stop.

NAME ETYMOLOGY

Nebuya (根武谷): The kanji 根 (Ne) means "root," 武 (Bu) means "martial," and 谷 (Ya) means "valley."

Uncrowned Kings Naming Pattern: Following a hidden theme where the Uncrowned Kings are named after things found in nature — flowers, nuts, seeds, roots — Nebuya's is "root."

Eikichi (永吉): The kanji 永 (Ei) means "eternal" and 吉 (Kichi) means "good fortune."
