OVERVIEW
Seto Kentarō is Kirisaki Daiichi's second-year center. He sleeps through the first half in a mask, waxes his hair at the break, and walks onto the floor looking like a disappointment — until the passing lanes disappear.
He is the only Kirisaki regular who can keep up with Hanamiya's reads. Screens and positioning, not post scoring. Hanamiya invited him to basketball. Seto says even an IQ of 160 is no match for the captain.
NAME ETYMOLOGY
Seto (瀬戸): The kanji 瀬 (Se) means "rapids, swift current" and 戸 (To) means "door." Together, a strait or channel.
Kirisaki Naming Pattern: Following a hidden theme where Kirisaki's core roster members are named after hospitals in Japan, 瀬戸病院 (Seto Hospital) appears in more than one prefecture.
Kentarō (健太郎): The kanji 健 (Ken) means "healthy, strong," 太 (Ta) means "thick, great," and 郎 (Rō) means "son."
